Interesting places to visit on a cultural tour are the Sultan’s Palace, the slave market, the House of Wonders and Darajani market place. Best time to visit
From June to November is the best time to visit Zanzibar because the temperature averages 26°C (79°F). Visiting in January and February is also recommended as this is usually a dry period between the two rainy seasons.
